Come for a few days, and leave yourself some space in your itinerary. You’ll wish you had more than a week just to become familiar with all there is to see and do in this magnificent region. Go a different direction every day for six or seven days and you won’t see the same thing twice, nor will you be satisfied that you have had enough. So, come and get a taste of what we have to offer…we expect you’ll be coming back season after season!
Mid June – Cattle go up on the mountain. In October – they come down on their own and they come to the bridge on the Slot Canyons Inn property – cowboys come and get the animals as they come down. This is a unique event to see the cows coming down off the mountain on their own accord. There’s still quite a bit of the real western cowboy life in Escalante.
